LSSTC enabling science 2021 broker workshop. Part II.
A workshop about LSST and its broker community. Part II.

This event is the second part of two workshops about astronomical alert brokers and the Vera C. Rubin Observatory. In the first part we established the baselines about the LSST project and alert stream status; basic requirements of the SCs and expected outcomes; and the status of proposed brokers, their interfaces and current science modules. A summary of the services requested by the science collaborations is shown below:

In this second part we will assemble the developments triggered by the first workshop and reflections from the different users and collaborations. It will be held on April 13,14 and 15th 2021 between 14:00-18:30 UTC through zoom. During this workshop, we aim to have:
- ~70% tutorials and demos focused on science cases and interfaces (filtering, machine-learning classifications and cross-matches, multi-messenger/wavelength analyses, APIs, batch processing).
- Hands on sessions & discussion on standardization (APIs, notifications) & benchmarks (processing, classification).
- A very small number of talks on topics like LSST DR0 & cadence, ZTF II, PLAsTiCC 2, TOMs.
Legacy: The tutorials and presentations can be found in this github repository: https://github.com/broker-workshop. The full list of recorded talks can be found in the following Youtube list.
